Is there any way to access old copies of the News here? I am specifically looking for articles by Bill Bartram on the .357 Maximum, or for that fact, any articles about the Max from the 1980's by any author. Can anyone be of some help out there? Drop me a PM if you wish, Thanks, Coogs.

All I found was a photo and this old paper, so far:

Not directly related, but maybe more leads?

The Silhouette staff published a book,"Shooting Steel". In it is an article all about the origins of the .357 Super Mag-.357 Maximum. It has load data also.

There's one on Amazon, but it's pretty pricey. Couldn't find one on other book selling sites. Maybe you'll get lucky and someone on this forum will have one for you.

In 1982 three early IHMSA pioneers also published a collection of loads for many IHMSA used cartridges called the Reloading Guide for Handgun Accuracy. Pages 93 through 95 covered the .357 Super Mag cartridge. This is a great collection of loads that proved accurate for the cartridges used in IHMSA at that time and is a worthwhile addition to any reloading library. These show up every so often but are probably pricey too. Shooting Steel has many articles/loads dedicated to cast bullets for various cartridges if you are into shooting CBs.

Now that we are digital for the IHMSA News is there any way for back issues to be archived and accessed online? The link on the IHMSA home page only directs to the current copy of the IHMSA News. I was trying to find and download the June 2014 copy. Maybe add a "Back Issues" link off the home page link. I know this would take up digital space and I don't know how web sites are charged for storage so maybe this is an issue of limited space for our website. I download each new copy to my pc as they are released but missed the June 2014 issue somehow.
