Dan, I'm a dummy!!!!!! When I go to the IHMSA News link I see the current edition then my computer tries to open that .pdf and the rest of the screen is blank while the .pdf is opening so I didn't see the list of previous editions at the bottom. I guess I need a faster computer!!!! Sorry for the mixup.

260 Striker wrote:Now that we are digital for the IHMSA News is there any way for back issues to be archived and accessed online? The link on the IHMSA home page only directs to the current copy of the IHMSA News. I was trying to find and download the June 2014 copy. Maybe add a "Back Issues" link off the home page link. I know this would take up digital space and I don't know how web sites are charged for storage so maybe this is an issue of limited space for our website. I download each new copy to my pc as they are released but missed the June 2014 issue somehow.
Lynn, I am working on this as a project and hope to have all of the old issues available as a flash drive setup for all to view. I hope to be done with the first phase of this project by the end of this month which is scanning all of the International write ups of the complete newsletter issues from 1977 to 2016. This will be my plan to to have 40 years of the Internationals.

-- Hopefully this project will be ready before the Internationals - World Championships of 2019 and I can get the flash drive available to distribute.

It's not by any means professionally done up but I am trying to make sure that the scanned copies are fairly readable and the nostalgia is there for others to get some enjoyment from the project as much as I have been doing it. You will be able to see the wrinkles and folds from the papers here and there but all in all I am having fun flipping page after page onto the scanner only to catch a breif glimpse of each and not get hung up wanting to stop to read the article or reminisce.
I am getting a lot of support from you guys and I really appreciate your efforts to assist me on my endeavor.
I'll keep you all up to date and get the word out when it becomes available --

Good job, Steve! I have tried to save copies of the various world championships or those that had the all-time records, but too often they end up in a box in the shed and …….you can guess the rest. An online version would be great! Big undertaking, but you have my support as well as others.
