Years ago when we had multiple candidates for an office I thought it was almost mandatory for the candidates to present their views in the newspaper so the general membership could decide who was best for an office. I know recent officials have been more from appointments or only one person running for an office so the candidate view points were over looked. I think it would be beneficial for ALL candidates to submit a short article of what they would bring to IHMSA even if they were unopposed for that office. Many of the names of candidates are well known as IHMSA shooters but that does not give me any insight into what they would bring to IHMSA as an office holder. I'm sure the locals who know the candidates already know all about them but the rest of us need more information to make a wise decision when we vote.

If I do not get a response concerning those clubs by april 1st, they will be deleted from the master schedule and I will be posting the 2015 schedule. I can always add them later.

Dan, I would suggest that the master schedule and the email info for members be posted on the IHMSA Home page. No sense putting that in each edition of the news if that info doesn't change that often. The March issue was pretty large as is so this would help reduce the size of each issue and help with download times. If members have a problem with their email info on the web, they are already too late since previous issues of the news have already listed their email info. Also new visitors to the IHMSA Home page could see a link to the master schedules so would be more obvious since they may not know to open the latest issue of the news to find the master schedule. Just trying to find a way to make your editor job easier each month. Keep up the good work.

I need to get with Proclaim and do something with the front Page of the website. I had a huge problem getting the News uploaded and it appears to be getting too big.

The November/December issue of the IHMSA news is up for viewing. it includes the new U.S. Membership form along with the form on the front Page.
