The Logan Handgun Association in OH has a long time policy of awarding an IHMSA membership to the highest scoring non-member shooter when there are 5 or more nom-member entries. We would award two memberships for 10 or more entries, etc. We had a shooter win a membership at our July match. When IHMSA memberships began on any month of the year, the LHA would immediately submit the winning non-member info to HQ for an annual membership. Now that all memberships begin in January, it would not be practical to submit this new membership for just a few remaining months in 2018.
Can we pay for a 2019 membership now for this new shooter or must we wait until January 2019? For that matter, can any current IHMSA member pay ahead for a 2019 membership? I doubt if the PayPal option could handle this situation or if HQ could track early payments. Please advise.
