I renewed Dec.26. Who is handling mailing the membership cards?

The membership cards will be sent out along with the Annual Printed issue.
That should theoretically be the March issue.

I hope you are well Melvin.

Shoot great...... and send me your BB records.

Thank you

I understand about when cards will be mailed. I paid with PayPal. Is there any way to get confirmation it was received? Several Ky. shooters didn't get their cards until April or May. I was one of them. We had the confirmation from PayPal, but Ray didn't have any records of us paying.

Joe, respectfully, I don't think you answered Melvin's question. He, and I, would like to know who the person is at HQ that receives the PayPal payments. We just want some reply to indicate that our money was received. Waiting until the March issue arrives and then not getting a new 2019 card is not what we expect. If that HQ person could start and new subject on the forum and list the members who paid for 2019, that would be great. Not a lot of info just Lynn S - OH would be enough. This list could be easily updated by the responsible HQ person with little effort. If a member does not have a PC I'm sure one of his/her shooting friends who owns a pc and logs into this forum could search for their friend. I also wonder if the person who receives the PP money then has to hand off that member info to another person who would then make the new cards and inserts the cards along with the March issue. I am curious how things are run at HQ. We all want our new cards when the shooting season starts and waiting until the March issued arrives (April?) and then finding out we didn't receive our 2019 card is not good. IHMSA is just about as transparent as our Federal Government and I'm sure we can do better. Just a suggestion.

We here in Louisiana have already conducted one match in 2019, using our old cards. I think that if our dues are due by Jan. 1, we should receive our cards earlier than March (or later)

I have my PP receipt, but it would be helpful, as Lynn says, to know if headquarters has a list of those PP payments.
I am entering my 38 th year of IHMSA shooting, and the lack of communication (except for VP Bruce Barrett) is making me wonder if continuing IHMSA sanction is worth it. Not a problem for us to hold matches without IHMSA sanction, but I would prefer not to.
In today’s electronic communication era, it is inexcusable to not keep the membership informed. Relying on the IHMSA News to be published is not reliable communication. I realize this is a volunteer organization ( I volunteer plenty), but something needs to be done. For instance, who is Pres. of IHMSA now? Was there an election?
Thanks to Joe Cullison for his input on here, as well as Bruce B.

I have visited that and it is out of date.
The last President’s report was March 2018. The last IHMSA News was August 2018. Steve’s term as Pres. was up in 2018.
My question was whether Steve is still President?
And the greater question is “ who is driving the bus”? And what do we tell the clubs that ask what are the advantages to becoming IHMSA sanctioned? And I have had clubs ask that very question.
