And thanks to the Dixons for adding the PHSC entry.
Good food as usual. Deer BBQ and lots o' slaw. ;)
PHSC entry:Factory Ported S&W 625 .45 Colt revolver, which wouldn't be "kosher" for FP or PAS.
Shot it standing with cast bullets. Thinking it will go on a deer hunting excursion or three, so it really is a "Practical Hunter". Was quite enjoyable. But using the RMR microreddot left set on a 50 yard zero didn't work out on the rams so well. And most of the turkey hits were in the leg. Thanks to Richard Pickering for his spotting. Wouldn't have gone nearly so well otherwise.
Next time might try a combo of standing and freestyle. Working on a warmer load using HP lead bullets for field work this month.
