We had great weather for our March match and were happy to see the return of some shooters that we haven’t seen for a while. The father and son team of Cliff and C. J. Johnson arrived early and their good natured rivalry put a smile on our faces. The elder Johnson edged out his son C. J. by a single point (although they are in different classes). Carey Templet returned in fine fashion with a 40X40 in PHSC. I think he has that 22 Hornet T/C dialed in. Difficult light and wind conditions did cause problems for some. My brother Philip had a very uncharacteristic day and missed four targets with his PHSC gun. I also missed four with mine. Ellis Sisk shot a respectable 39X40 in PH22. Steve Hernandez remains the only shooter among us to still shoot Production Standing. He managed 18X40 with his Ruger MK. I’d like to remind everyone that our April match will be on the first Saturday of the month rather than Sunday.
