We had a pleasant day today but the range was rather soggy due to recent rains. Steve Hernandez shot a respectable Standing score of 20X40 with a Ruger MK. Ellis Sisk had a solid score of 37X40 in PHSC using a FA revolver. Ellis then fired a 21X40 in PHSC with an iron sighted Ruger Blackhawk 30 Carbine, getting his sight settings as he went. My brother Philip was in his usual form posting a pair of perfect scores in UAS and PHSC. I struggled through an Unlimited entry to manage a 34X40. The old eyes aren’t what they used to be. We also had some NRA Cowboy Lever Action shooters today and their scores are below. Thanks to everyone who helped with target setting and picking up the targets and rails after the match.
