JCSA Grants Pass, OR 02-21-16

It was an interesting (but small) match. The photo should explain why. We were a bit creative at the beginning. Not sure there is anything in the rules about what we did. You can check it out here.

What are your thoughts about what we did for the first 2 guns?

Due to recent cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

I have no issue with it. Your option was to cancel the match dues to conditions.
This is one of those grey areas that match directors must contend with and make hard decisions,

You made the only viable one and I support it wholeheartedly.

I believe I have heard of shotgun starts at some ranges where a shooter may start on an animal other than chickens and just rotate until all targets have been shot. Don't see much difference in what you did as long as the shooters completed the course of fire using the same firearm. If you as MD and the shooters didn't care, who else matters???? Now if they were using a soft football then that is a big deal!!!!!

It worked great for me, at least until Charlie got to his shoot-offs. Ha.
Thanks for another great match.
Glad it finally cleared up, next thing you know we will want it to be warmer too.
