COMMENTS

The big news of this match is that we had three new shooters! Wayne Burns, an accomplished Field Target shooter from Ashland, joined us as did our own Mike and Cristine Abel, Small Bore and Big Bore shooters. I do believe we may see them back again!

The Unlimited discipline was a husband/wife duel between Mike and Cristine. While Mike took the title, Cristine was not left out in the cold as she was our High Lady.

The Unlimited Any Sight shooters saw another excellent contest between Ron Silveira and Dave Healy. Dave fired a 40 and then set out the 1/20 scale chickens as shoot-offs as he had to leave early. He missed all five. Ron fired his 40 later in the day and managed to hit 2x5 of the pesky little chickens. Ron’s performance also earned him the High Senior title.

Ron also fired a 36x40 in Unlimited Standing, his personal best. That was a certain winner and gave him his first leg into International class.

Thanks to Mike, Cristine, Ron, Dave, Ron, Mike and Wayne for helping to set up and tear down the range.
