ACSC 7-31 & 8-1 21

We had our inaugural 500 Ultra match on July 31. We figured out what we did right and all the things we did wrong. So when we do it again next year we will hopefully make the correct changes. First off we can only set the rams at 500 yards. That's okay. We had six shooters fire the course and Leroy's gun broke. Rich Hawkins had a leg up on us, he had shot it before and had sight settings. Thanks to Rich and his club who gave us the targets. Thanks to David, Will, Ron, Brett for setting up and cleaning up the range. Thanks to Chris and Leroy for helping David and Ron pick up all the targets when were through.

We had our regular match the next day August 1. We fired 28 guns. Leroy Boone got a 40. He had to use two different guns after his gun broke again. Will brought his son Thomas out to shoot. I expect it won't be long before he's hard to beat like his daddy. Our next match is September 12th. That is the second Sunday and is our last match of the year. Hope to see you there.
