BB MATCH REPORT JPRPC Paducah, KY 4-26-15

JPRPC hosted the second Big Bore match of 2015 on Sunday April 26, 2015. Participation was very good with 32 entries. We had the pleasure to meet and spend the day with 4 new participants. JPRPC welcomes each one and hope you enjoyed spending the day shooting silhouettes. Each one displayed excellent sportsmanship and were safe while handling firearms.
Brent Howard gave Practical Hunter Short Course a try using a TC 22 Hornet in the flop position. His first ever IHMSA score was a AAA, 38! After such a successful first match he couldn't resist giving it a second try. When he completed round 2 the final score was once again 38. We hope to see your return Brent. I'm sure there is a 40 lurking in your Practical Hunter future! Thanks also to Ethan, Larry and Jake for attending. I personally enjoyed talking and meeting each one of you. Ethan is a personal friend to William P. Ethan only spotted during this match. Being a storm chaser, he departed early heading to severe weather in Texas. Larry and Jake both shot the Tactical match. Both did quite well for a first time shooting silhouettes.
Those that traveled long distances, we thank you for your commitment to IHMSA and supporting JPRPC.
No 40's were shot during this match although some good scores were posted. John Howard shot 39 + 9. Missing one full size ram and one shoot-off ram.

The Tactical club match is drawing interest and is successful at this time. High Tactical score was shot by Dennis Sanderson. During our first two matches the high Tac score was shot by a CF firearm shooting the full size targets!
Thanks to Darell for the extra help preparing the range and calling the match while I shot. Judy and Kathy's efforts to provide lunch was also greatly appreciated.
Once again Judy and I would like to thank everyone that contributes to make this a successful match day.
