Since there is no Practical Hunter sub-forum. I will ask the question here. Those of you that have "built" Practical Hunter guns. What scope do you use? I know we are limited to 6X.
Do you use a 3 X 9, 4 X 12 or what? I should have mentioned in the "flop" position.

Re: What Scope
For both PH22 and PHSC, I'm using Nikon Pro Staff Target EFR, 3X-9X. Very bright image and the turrets are resettable by lifting and turning. No tools required. Perfect scope for PH, in my opinion. Shooting flop with both.

I am not 100% sure. His is also Nikon, 3X-9X but I cannot remember if he has the adjustable objective lens as does the target model. Send him a message here or on FB.35isit wrote:Is that the same scope Jackie Brown is using?contender1121 wrote:For both PH22 and PHSC, I'm using Nikon Pro Staff Target EFR, 3X-9X. Re: What Scope
I been playing with scopes and added 6.5 x 20 and high rise to my gun but with this combo, an 20 moa rings the gun weighs just barely under 6 pounds so a no-go for FP.
I also have Kenlight sights with a rail on it.
Trying to get this to drop a pound is insane. I getting use to high power so even if add 24 power Leopold that is 6 ounces less in weight i still way over the limit for FP?
Going to be hard.

Re: What Scope
Greg if I had to do it all over! I would put the Nikon EFR on my UAS gun,and trust me that’s saying something, choosing it over my Weaver T36!JACKIE40X40 wrote:Yes it is Greg.
