I am primarily a standing shooter as I have never fired a revolver, production, unlimited, or uas score in big bore. However, my xp 100 in 708 and I are itching to try ULTRA 500 meters. One of the fondest memories that I have of my dad, Dave Edney, Sr., is the biggest reason for this. My dad shot 500 meters in Ridgway in 1979. He loved telling the story of shooting his 10 inch 3030 contender offhand at those distances. Attached is the article about the shoot written by JD Jones from the May/June 1980 American Handgunner.
