2023 World Championship Registration

Attached is the registration form for the 2023 World Championship that will be held at the Riley Gun Club In Terre Haute Indiana. Dates are Friday, July 7 to Wednesday, July 12.

Please note the starting and ending times have changed to better accommodate the unique light conditions at the range.

We will be starting at 11:00 every morning and end at 6:00 pm Friday through Tuesday and 11:00 to 2:00 on Wednesday.

Sighters will start at 10:45.

Big Bore relays will be scheduled from 11:00a to 3:45p. 1/2 scale will be scheduled from 4:00p to 6:00p with no 1/2 scale scheduled on Wednesday. Wednesday big bore will be from 11:00a to 2:00p

If you are shooting multiple entries on the same day, please check all your guns in at the same time. We are going to try and reduce the number of hours the check in station is manned. Current plans are to be manned from 10:00 to 1:00. If you decide to add an entry or change a gun later in the day, get with an IHMSA officer or the match director to check in the gun.

Be prepared to shoot shootoffs immediately after shooting a perfect score. Last year, we shot all scoped guns immediately after the perfect score was shot. A notice will be posted at the match indicating which catagories will be required to shoot immediate shootoffs.

Any ties that remain at the end of formal competition will be shot off after the final relay on Wednesday. Winners and awards will be announced following the final tiebreakers.

Air gun competition has been tentatively scheduled for Sunday morning. Specific times to be announced later. Last year we had so many air entries we shot over two evenings. If the demand is high we will add an additional morning.

Pleases reference Rich Hawkins earlier post about range set up day on Thursday. Practice and sighters will be allowed once the range is setup. Once the range is closed on Thursday night, no further practice is allowed until the first sighter relay on Friday at 10:45. If you are available to work on Thursday it will be greatly appreciated.

I Am pleased to announce we have exceeded 100 entries already and as of today have 114 registered entries.

That number does not include air.
Plans are now to shoot air on Sunday morning early before the regular line starts at 11:00. That is July 9th.
Knowing the people who are already registered, the air line will be busy and if need be, we will shoot more air in an evening or an additional morning.
The shooters who are already registered shot a total of 20 air entries last year.

I look forward to shooting with you all at Terre Haute in July.

Thanks to hard work by the VP Rich Hawkins and steadfast right hand man, Bob Hargis, Short course PH will be offered at the 2023 World Championships.

The registration form posted in this thread has been altered to reflect that change.

Dan Hagerty, will you post the updated registration form to the main page please?
