Here are some of the highlights

1. The 2016 world championships will not be a loss. At the very worst a wash, it should show a nice profit after everything is totaled.
2. Board approved an improved/cleaner reading version of the by-laws. Add an earlier date for nominations in the newsletter.
3. At delegates meeting approved a by-law change that will allow the members to vote via electronic means.
4. Due to the new membership plan we are seeing many returning members and many new members.
5. Ray has the first quarter report almost ready and it is looking very good. He is working on the records from 2014 and 2015.
6. We have had over 500 guns shot at the 40th annual World Championships, if you missed this match, you missed one of the best.
7. Saving the best for last, the past two days Shooting USA has been filming the 2016 world championships. They will be filming the Ultra 500 tomorrow. They seem very interested in the concept of handguns at those distances. It should air in a couple of months and they will be providing our contact info and our web site. We need to be positive and helpful to any prospective new members who come to our forum looking for more information about our sport. This is the type of promotion we cant afford to buy, so we need to take advantage of this opportunity.
#3 is my favorite! :-bd

Thank you for a great week OKC

Thanks to the OKC crew for hosting another great world championship match. The range looked great, and worked great! Pretty cool to have auto reset targets out to 500 meters ! And then to have 4 banks of each is over the top ! Cabela's donated a pallet of water and a huge cooler for us to use, along with a bolt action rifle for our raffle. Really nice to have free cold bottles of water on the firing line.
I'd also like to thank our IHMSA board for all the hours behind the scenes not only to pull this match off, but keeping the day to day operations moving forward. Great job and Thank you for donating your time.
