WTB 7mmBR Brass

Post by DW44VH »

I recently purchased an XP-100 in 7mm BR and feel like I stole it, $400.00 Canadian, (sorry had to brag a little) I was wondering if anyone has any factory 7mm BR brass they would be interested in parting with.

I bought 6BR. Commercially available and can be had from lapua. Necked it up, easy peasy.

Midway USA shows 100 Lapua 6BR in stock for $93.99. Pricey but at least available. Brownells has same Lapua for $94.99. Best deal on Lapua is otmtactical.com in stock for $80.79 per 100. Midsouth Shooters has some Norma brass in stock for $88.70 so looks like you are going to pay $80 to $94 per 100 no matter whether Lapua or Norma.

I use the Lapua 22-250 with good results. Probably a good way to go.

nobody knows when remington will start making brass again. So using Lapua 6BR is about your only option right now.

I necked out the 6 BR cases but found out the hard way that the flash hole is smaller in the 6BR and needs to be enlarged before necking.

No small pin available and needed brass straight away. Shopping for this sort of stuff is not that easy down under.
