Nut, I know it has not been destroyed. Spent a few hours on the phone one day with a very nice woman at Ruger records. We started at serial #600-11300 and went through each individual Maximum record until we came to #600-11588. It is the highest number out there. Everything after that, up to #600-16314 (which was the highest number produced) has been destroyed, Ruger uses the terminology, "scrapped" So everyone keep on a lookin', It's worth two NIB Maxi's to me, Coogs.
