Hornady Customer Service

Post by Richard Pickering »

I wish to recognize and commend our friends at Hornady.
Recently I opened a box of bullets. I thought it a bit curious
that the bag had been ripped. Upon counting the bullets I
understood the situation. Nearly two dozen bullets were
not there.
I emailed Hornady Customer Service more to advise them than
to complain. They mailed me a box of bullets to correct the
undercount. I told them it wasnt necessary but they said they
would correct it.
So when you buy bullets please keep our friends in Nebraska
in mind. I promised them their generosity would not be kept private.

I have always had good service from Hornady. I purchased a set of their carbide 357 Mag dies and noticed that the carbide sizer die did not properly resize cases. I contacted them and the person there acknowledged that they had a bad batch of 357 Carbide sizers. He asked for my address and I had a new die in 2 days ! On another occasion I called them asking about a 6.5 TCU FL die that I had personally messed up trying to extract a stuck case. I was merely asking to purchase a new sizer stem and expander. The agent said that he would replace it and asked for my address. I told him that it was not their responsibility and that I wanted to pay for the new parts. He told me that the most important thing was to get me back "up and running". I have always remembered that good service ! Kudos to Hornady !!!
