Something to think about

Post by willk »

Its kind of funny in the end. Some of the guns we shoot unlimited in (XP’s, Savage Strikers, TC Contenders Anschutz Exemplars) are stock firearms that can or at least could be purchased at a store and shot right out of the box. (Adding a handgun scope). Some of our “production” firearms, between what is and what is not allowed in the rules are no where near close to what can be purchased at a store and/or shot right out of the box.

Just sayin.

Are there any guns that are shot in silhouette now that you can walk-in a store and buy new other than maybe a Ruger Charger.
What guns back in the day were basically designed because of silhouette by the factory. As for as factory cartridges I guess the 7 br was one
You do make a interesting point

A Freedom Arms is silhouette ready out of the box? And you can shoot it in every category.
Perhaps the only example.

Standing is my favorite category. (Not right in the head)

Cannot walk into a store and buy one, and cannot buy one without visiting a banking institution first ! :D

ok, How about the Ruger Super Blackhawk. My LGS has 2 10" in stock right now!

Also, Ruger has brought out the Ruger MK IV with a 10" barrel again!
