Remembrance Edward H. Bulick 1940--1997

Post by Richard Pickering »

Ed passed 17 years ago at the age of 57. He left too early. Rest in Peace, buddy.
Maybe it is time to add a section ''In Memoriam'' to remember our IHMSA friends. rp

I have served as assistant match director, Southern Silhouette club, 1980s. Also, the Griffin Gun Club for Silhouette during the 1990s, to about 2005. For a short period I authored the ''Cast Bullet'' section of The IHMSA News. Joined IHMSA March 1979.

Richard, Its good that you still remember and miss your friend. A new column like that would be nice and unfortunately appears to be needed. Our IHMSA family is shrinking. I hope we can continue to grow a new generation of members to replace the ones we are losing.

I only mention that because we have lost John Adams, Major Golden, Elgin Gates, Ed Bulick, J Carlton Shy, Steve Riddle, Ted Zysk, and several others that I cannot immediately recall. rp I didn't intend to neglect Ginny West and Charles Nickolson.

Yes, way too many. They played key roles in making IHMSA what it is today.

Down here, in Texas, we lost Bob Thomas, bout 5 years ago. He was found
dead in his living room, apparent heart attack. If you knew Bob, you knew
what a curmudgeon he could be, too! :D But, he was one of the best handgun
shots I ever met.
