Tusco 8/2/14
Great day at Tusco today. Didn't get rain until about 5:30. I think I am most happy with the 5 smallbore pigs I dropped with my DW standing after missing the first bank of 5. This is an aggravating and also a satisfying game. Honestly, the most fun came while I spotted for my brother shooting his DW 6 inch 44 mag standing at big bore targets. I have never spotted the big bore targets. Thank you Mark Urbank for the spotting scope. Watching that 240 grain bullet come into view and then smack those rams was awesome. My brother and I were able to shoot 5 guns each and spot for each other on each gun. It was a long day, but well worth it. Especially because the whole day from 9am to 530pm was $25. I have spent much more money for other activities and not had nearly this much fun. Jim, Bill, and the other guys whose names I forget (sorry), thank you for a great shoot, great wisdom, and a great time.
