internationals in texas

who's planning on going to texas this year? i'm planning on going if gas prices stay around $5 a gallon or so. going to take 100 gallons for me to texas and back home. allen

From Oregon, Fort Stockton, TUSCO, and Oklahoma city are all over 2,000 miles. That's 3 days each way plus a week of shooting. That is way too many miles/days for this old man. I'll just shoot the West Coast & enjoy the savings on gas.

Now, that's not to say that I wouldn't like to be there. :) I sure would as I like the town of Fort Stockton. But, 4,500 miles round trip is just too much.

Have a burrito & a beer for me at Sara's. :D
