that is correct, But Marvin never shot IHMSA, so Joe's is the IHMSA record

Joe :) NO you don't, NO you don't, NO you don't. This Joe needs all the help.

It was, as always, a great match, with great food, great drink, great friends and in the words of Ted Zysk "and we get to shoot too".
It was pretty unreal. I had a lot of help from a world champion spotter. My wife Tina, she kept me calm and focused for the entire entry. I was pretty shaky with the crosshairs dancing across the entire animal. A few times the trigger broke off of an edge by an inch or two but somehow they all fell down.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I'm writing an article describing my 18 year silhouette journey to a perfect US score. It should appear in the August edition.

While the Smart Girls Rock T-shirt is an excellent one and one of my favorites, I was actually wearing the Ted Zysk Memorial T-shirt for the first time. Perhaps I had a little help from above?

There will be an update on this topic in the September edition of the IHMSA News, but as it turns out, there have been some previous perfect scores standing scores. I had a couple of emails and then a great phone call from Lon Pennington concerning this. Region 1 director Allen Olsen researched this quite a bit (he has copies IHMSA News from 1991), and so the first recorded perfect score known thus far is from 1999 by Jeff Hunt. Maybe there are some others out there that know of other such feats? Lon and I had a casual conversation, so no concrete research/proof, but he did mention Marvin Tannehill and Roger Ward as people he thought he recollected getting perfect standing scores as well. This certainly doesn't diminish Mr. Cullison's accomplishment--a 60x60 is incredible. Being somebody who wasn't there in the 1980s and 1990s, I have really enjoyed some of the conversations I've had over this topic from our involved members that were there then.

Taking nothing away from Joe's accomplishment, but didn't both Jeff Hunt (MI) and Bill Robinson (PA) shoot 40's in Field Pistol PAS ??

Under the Articles section, I just posted the article which will appear in the September edition of the IHMSA News. Maybe some members out there have even further helpful information.

Thanks,
