During the conversation the rep said Thompson will start selling the G2 again in the spring of this year.

Thompson to start selling contenders in spring
I just got off the phone with Thompson Center asking about converting my older styled frame to the easy open frame and was told they no longer offered that service. Gonna have to find a newer frame, which means now i gotta spend MORE money! But i digress...
During the conversation the rep said Thompson will start selling the G2 again in the spring of this year.

We were able to buy a new G2 frame last summer, so I guess they must have made a few in 20014 as well.

hmmmm...it wouldn't surprise me if everyone you speak to at Thompson (smith and Wesson) has a different thing to say about this or that. Just in the couple of times that I've dealt with them, i haven't been really impressed. Alas, poor Thompson, we knew thee well!
