Are you sure all were this twist? My factory 516 7-08 was 1 in 9.
Craig I stand corrected , I got that from Numrich site that had 7-08 factory barrels listed as 1 : 11.5 and I checked my gun and I thought it was so. So I just went back to that site and it gives no info on the 7-08's anymore other than Sold Out forever , then I checked my gun again with a cleaning rod and brush . I come up with 1:9" The chamber doesn't count toward rate of twist
. Thanks TD , But I still want a longer tube and no brake. The brake that is on it now doesn't open , bullet lube has done wonders for it
