World Championship now 60 Round Match

I read in another thread on this forum a discussion, which seem to imply that the IHMSA World Championship is or will be a 60 Round Match versus a 80 Round Match. Can someone please confirm this for me..........is it 60 or 80 Rounds ??

As your news editor, I know nothing about this.. Besides, the last World champs was 80 rounds....

Robert, Great to hear from you, hope all is well with you.I sat in on board meeting @ 2015 World Championship match at LASC.Next year (2016 in OKC) will be 80 round, with board discussion on 60 round matches in future.The thought was we have more classes than you can shoot running 80 matches, I'm sure more discussion will follow in future.

I can envision that now. That along with auto resets should cut down on the cost of attending also.
