For nominations, the form must be signed by the nominee and two "financial officers" What/who are financial officers. Can two members from the general membership sign? If the financial officers are only Board members can they stop a nomination by not endorsing the form?

I believe what you are referring to is actually stated as "financial members". I interpret that as anyone who pays dues to be a member of IHMSA.

The proposed changes to our bylaws will hopefully limit the amount of workload on one officer, Secretary/Treasurer. My proposal is to split this one position into three positions, Secretary (Officer), Treasurer (Officer), and Membership (Director). As I reviewed meeting minutes from previous years, this topic has been addressed. We have already had interest from three people for the Secretary and Membership positions. If you or know of anyone who is interested in any of the positions, then please contact Rich Hawkins or Doug Edney. In the meantime, we will be working to update our bylaws to reflect the changes.

Did you view the attachment in the first post on the thread? I have not imbedded the possible changes within the bylaws yet. I can work on that though.

Just took a second look. I did not notice the old vs current years in parentheses.
