Very Fitting
My very 1st. IHMSA match 3 years ago in Gainsville Ga. after attempting to shoot PAS (shot a 6)
as I came off the Line Richard (not knowing me at all) Stopped me and said "if your going play this game you mite as well
learn to shoot the Taco" and He and Eddy using Eddy's Gun and ammo spent the rest of the match schooling me
and from that day there is never a week goes by that we don't e-mail he always has tips and support
I once read some were some one call him "the dean of silhouette" fitting title he has help a lot of people thought the years.
I guess I've me mighty luck the Braud brothers that won it last year have been a big part of my learning curve.

I've had a lot of help in the last 3 years from a few good people but to day my hats off to Richard Pickering

AMEN !!!!! Congrats to Richard - it is well deserved !!

I was honored to be there for the presentaion and to observe Richard's response as his name was called. We were gathered in the club house of the Buccanner Gun Club and Richard was seated on a sofa. Upon hearing his name he bowed his head as if he did not believe he heard correctly. But none of us in attendance had any doubt about his merit.

A great honor for a person who has promoted the sport for so many years. I had the pleasure of editing the IHMSA News when Richard wrote the Cast Bullet column? Anyone want to start that back up again? It was always a fun read. Congratulations Richard!

Have only managed two matches (at Gainsville, it so happens) so far this year, but am happy to hear about Richard Pickering's award!

The Cast Bullet column was an anticipated read back in "the old days". Still a favorite source of "frustration" at the range.

We need more fine people like you. Way to go Richard . Charles
