Rule changes to 2016 IHMSA Rulebook

The following changes were approved and will be updated in the next printing of the Rule Book. These will be printed in the IHMSA News till rule book is updated.
I.H.M.S.A. rule changes for “2016 IHMSA OFFICAL RULES” on page 11
Section VI: Handguns – A. Production 12
Should be changed to read as below:
A) Sear engagement surfaces of the hammer and trigger may be smoothed and then rehardened.
B) Within the trigger / hammer assembly, springs from any manufacturer may be used to replace original springs, provided they are a catalogue item and made specifically for the make of handgun to which they are fitted.
