Targets??? What targets???? I doubt I could see them with no glass eye to help me. I have hard enough time seeing small shoot off targets at 200 meters!!!

No one will be turned away at 2016 if they wish to shoot the Ultra 500. You'll have as many sighted as you need before you start your entry.
As to the size of the targets, remember the first target, the chicken is a full size big bore chicken at 200 meter. The commonly used shoot offs for Big Bore are often much smaller. The pig at 300 meters is probably the easiest of all the Ultra 500 targets. The turkeys and the Rams are a challenge.
The best way to think of it as a course of 40 shoot off targets with a little more wind to contend with due to the added distance. The Ultra 500 game will make you pay attention to the wind.

Ok, I have some answers for you guys concerning the Ultra 500 at the World championships.

Ultra 500 will be shot the day after the championships end (which is a saturday). It will be a 40 round match only. Sign ups will be done during the championships and no preregistration.

Classification requirements are Waived for the championships. in other words, No 2 score requirement and you can come Unclassified.

and as The Rules state, you get unlimited sighters, so you can get your sight settings before you shoot for score.

Now that sounds like a fun match. I'm sure there will be a select few shooters who are already classified in Ultra but I would suggest just listing all the Ultra shooters in the match report by score and don't worry about classes. To keep it fun, don't declare any winner(s) just list all shooters and let them see how they shot. No winners, no losers, no advantages that way.

What ARE the classifications?

I have a 7 Standing from ~1990. I may even have it on a score card. 3-c, 2-p,1-t, 1-r
