Production TC Contender in 7-30 Waters. It likes one powder only, but it will shoot with that one.

My very most favorite Unlimited is a Wichita rear grip, Bomar signts, .308 caliber. It shoots 3" five shot groups at 200 meters, open sights. Shoots consistent 40s and frequent 80s at State, Regional and International levels.

My second most favorite Unlimited AND favoirite Production is a Switch barrel MOA with a 10-3/4" Production barrel and a 14" Unlimted barrel, both in 7,62x39 caliber. 40s in both classes on a regular basis.

My most favorite revolver is a Dan Wesson 44Mag that I won in a raffle at a Regional match in Sweetwater, Texas! Had to buy the 9-1/2" barrel separately. Won the Texas State the following year with a 40x40 and the 7th Regionals the same year.

XP 100 in 7TCU. Somehow you have to work hard to make this gun miss. Shot more 40x40's than all of our other guns combined.

Re: Guns of the game: Big Bore
First let me introduce myself, i am new here and don't shoot competitive silhouette, i have banged a few at the local range. that said i do like the firearms used to shoot the sport. here is a couple i like to play with,
circa, 1978 Wichita 7mm ihmsa , has a 2 oz canjar trigger. anyone know if the trigger is adjustable.
xp-100 by jarrett, 6mm br
xp-100 6br
i also have a encore in 6Br with 15" custom shop barrel, just no picturers.

Re: Guns of the game: Big Bore
Here's a snap of my Wichita MK40 re-barreled to 7 International. I originally had it built in .243FL and it was a target eater so after a couple seasons I had a local 'smith attach a custom, (Shillen, I think, been a LONG time), barrel. I had to quit the game in '84 and sold her off in '85. Recently I spotted it for sale on Gun Broker, the seller had posted the s.n. and I recognized it right away, it was kind of unique and I remembered it. So here it is, back after 30 or so years and I'm glad to have it. It came back with fresh paint and devoid of sights so I put on a Burris 3-12. I no longer compete as there's no place in Utah I'm aware of that has matches so now I'm just trying to see how far it will shoot. Still does sub m.o.a. easily with "try" loads. "It's been a long time Baby"..lol!
