Freedom Arms model 2008

Post by LiscioG »

Gents,
As I read through the match results in the annual IHMSA review I could not find any instance where a Freedom Arms mod 2008 was used in the big bore pistol classes. They dominate the revolver category.

I was wondering why they are absent from the pistol competition which seems dominated by Thompson Contenders. Is it a cost or performance factor?
Appreciate the info since I am considering a FA model 2008.
Thank'ee.

Nothing wrong with a 2008. I would think it is the limited calibers offered and that extra barrels have to be fitted to the frame. A big plus and thank you to Mr. Baker from Freedom Arms for showing up at the World Championships and repairing a few guns. He was the only vendor there I know of. They will take care of any needs you have.
