XP rear grip stock ?

Post by 1957PRR »

Who if any makes a XP 100 rear grip stock composite or laminated wood ? Seems like it is easier to find a pot gold at the end of a rainbow then one those stocks.

DZ Arms in OKC makes rear grip stocks for the silhouette shooters in the area. However, I do not know if they make them for guns other than what they are building.

Search for XP100 on Gunbroker. You will find several center grip and rear grip stocks for sale. Need to finish inletting and outside. Joel Russo makes some great laminated XP stocks.

Thanks for the offer, but I need it as a left grip for a right action. Plus. It has finger groove. About four months ago I sanded off finger grooves from a fiberglass rear grip stock for a Sako, Vixen single shot pistol. That was a challenge to clean up. It had no thumb ledge. Yours does which for me is on the wrong side. If it is a foam core stock like the Sako’s, it has to be fiberglassed over to re-strengthen it. Also. It looks like I’m going to have build this gun with Remington 700 pattern action. Used XP’s are just stupid expensive. A friend reneged on a XP he was going sell me.

Again I thank you for the offer.
