Or, at least I think that is the s/n. My friend has a DW 445 Super Mag. It is one of the IHMSA special s/n Dan Wessons. I have researched all my printed material and cannot find anything about these particular DW's.

Would any of you have any knowledge you would share about them?

I have seen older DW's That were serial numbered with the letters IHMSA and a number. The number was usually the IHMSA membership number of the gun's owner.

As for the later 445's this mat have still been the case but I am not sure.
