Might make weight but I'm guessing that you will be about 1/4" over the max allowed length for U-guns.

Forcast for Tusco this saturday is high of 42 with AM rain/snow showers. Yes, I will be welcoming any fire breathing dragons.

Sunday looks to be a balmy 49 degrees.

ok, time to be serious ;)

That is a 31" Krieger 6.5 Cal 1:8 twist barrel blank. when it is cut down to proper length, I should have enough left for a second barrel to use later.

I am still making up my mind if I want it contoured to a standard silhouette contour and have the Muzzle brake installed, OR go Bull Barrel and not use a muzzle brake.

It will be chambered either in 6.5BR or 6.5x47 Lapua. I shoot a lot of 500 Meter, so the extra horsepower of the 6.5x47 lapua is what I am Favoring. :ymdevil: :ymdevil:

If your looking for opions here my $00.02
I have 2 striker "fun guns"
308 fac. Barrel with brake and 6.5x 284 heavy
Taper no brake. With full house loads and same weight bullets the heavy no brake
Has a lot less recoil and i like the heavy barrel
Better. Now this heavy would not make weight
But this barrel shoyld on a lighter xp
