NICE!!! Too bad Ruger stopped making them. Once the ammo issue was figured out the top strap cutting became a non-issue. I guess too many lawyers telling Ruger about possible lawsuits.

Ruger produced 16,314 Serialized frames, unknown EXACTLY how many completed guns were done. They "scrapped" over 5,000 from completed guns to just serialized frames. Basically to make a long story short, a nice lady at Ruger records and I spent about two hours on the phone one day. Started at serial #600-11300, went through each record above that till we came to #600-11588, the highest one out there. Everything above that, as well as a few blocks in between, were "scrapped" Coogs.

Told wife she's lucky IHMSA is my mid life crisis, it's cheaper than a Corvette or chasing younger women!
