For new shooters in the southern California area who are interested in attending a match at the LA Silhouette Club, there is a monthly big bore (centerfire) and small bore (rimfire) match on the 2nd weekend of every month.

There is also a smaller small bore (rimfire) match on the 4th Saturday every month.

New shooters get to shoot for free, there's a club T/C available to shoot, and there are usually lots of folks to help show you the ropes and help you through your first match!

Air pistol - California Central Coast

The Morro Bay Airgunners are a group of air gun enthusiasts that belong to the San Luis Smallbore Association.

We have been holding airgun field target matches for a couple of years and more recently, airgun silhouette. This coming Sunday we will be having our 1st IHMSA
air pistol match following the air and smallbore rifle match. Bring ear protection as the big bore rifles will be shooting near by at the bench rests.
