Anyone missing this one missed some great shooting, great times with special friends as well as some great food & great shooting conditions with little wind two out of the three days, a little humid with light rain on Saturday & Sunday morning but not bad overall. We had heavy rain all around us, so we lucked out big time.
We had a total of 178 entries for this match, a little better than last year.
We had shooters from Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota as well as Oklahoma & all had a great time shooting steel, telling tales of times gone by & making excuses for missing targets.
We had a total of forty-six perfect scores shot in this match & that’s a bunch, & I believe a new OKC club record for a regional 60 round match which relates to calm winds most of the match, so everyone had a great time in the shoot-offs.
Those shooting perfect scores in this match were Woody Liddell (6), Jim Fields (1), Scott Thompson (4), John Blue (5) Steve Martens (4) Link Smith (3) Gary Crews (2) Terry Batts (1) Richard Redd (2) Jim Myers (2) Tim Colgan (3) Teresa Coleman (1) Dave Stone (3) Jackie Brown (1) John Anderson (3) Charles Harbert (3) John Blue shot a perfect 5-Gun scope aggregate score, congrats John, great shooting. Terry Batts won the Iron Man award with an eight gun total of 375x480. Link Smith won FP-PAS with a fantastic score of 55x60 & Dave Strydom from Kansas. won the Bordello shoot-out with a score of 25x60.

We again will host the 2019 IHMSA World Championship July 12th thru the 20th, make plans for that one for sure. This will make the 6th time OKCGC has hosted this event.
