Kensights from Eabco

I just want to thank Eabco for the prompt service on the Kensights I ordered for my BF 7mm Supermag single shot pistol. I ordered them on August 3rd, and received them today, August 6th, at 9:30 am. These are very good sights, comparable I believe to Bomars. I have a set on my BF unlimited gun, and ...

Re: 7mm T/CU Starline 223 basic brass

I use military brass all the time for my Remington XP-100, chambered in 7TCU. Why make it hard? The stuff is EVERYWHERE, and shoots great! But, to each his own.

Re: IHMSA Rules and such

I stand by my original post. I've been in this game since 1980, so I'm no newbie. If one were to take a Freedom Arms revolver and let an AA class revolver shooter use it in a match, I think he would pick up a MINIMUM of 10% more targets over let's say, his Ruger Super Blackhawk. If that's not "...

Re: IHMSA Rules and such

When I attended my first IHMSA match in October of 1980, I walked the line behind the competitors to see what type of guns they were shooting. Thompson-Center Contenders dominated most of the shooting. Xp-100's were dominant in the Unlimited classes. Revolvers were Rugers & Smith & Wessons. ...

Re: Bowen Rear Sights

A shooting buddy of mine has a Bowen on his Super Blackhawk, and really likes it. He didn't mention to me that he had to wait on it. He uses his for IHMSA silhouette shooting.

Re: Left the range.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Jim was Texas state director for a number of years. He was a really nice fellow, and man, could that guy shoot! I saw him run 10 in a row, at 200 meters, in a shoot off at Greenwood Gun club. They were small chickens, either half-size or .22 chickens, painted lime green so t...

Re: Smith and Wesson stopping production of all TC products!

The basic Contender design has been around since what, 1967? Investment casting then wasn't near as good as it is today, so what tha hell is taking them so long? They have the design they want, it's worked for decades. This seems like they are designing it from the ground up! Something is rotten in ...

Re: "Flop" stocks, Shooting Aids, and Rule Enforcement

I just have to laugh at this. We have, what, maybe 300 members WORLD WIDE, and we are worried about if a fore end fits the contour of you leg, hand, etc? This organization has always been its own worst enemy! Maybe that's just what needs to happen, this outfit goes belly up. Damn, people!

As my old granny used to say, "April fools done past, and you're the biggest fool at last!", or something like that! :))

Re: No IHMSA News!

That's very good information, Alvin. It's the first I've ever heard from someone who was "there", as they say.
