Re: WTB Ruger Super Blackhawk Rear sight Target

The design Bomar had for the Ruger revolvers would seem to be pretty easy to reproduce by someone like Ken-sites, or however you spell it.

Re: No IHMSA News!

Doug, none of what I've said is in anyway an attack on you, or your wife. Being match director is usually a THANKLESS job, so I can only imagine what it's like to be President. I take my hat off to anyone being willing to take on positions in IHMSA today. I love this game, and plan on shooting in it...

Re: WTB Ruger Super Blackhawk Rear sight Target

A buddy of mine uses the sight made by Hamilton Bowen. It is a nice sight, and fits the Ruger rear sight cut-out with minimal fitting. Might check that one out. Sometimes you will see the Bomar sight sets for sale in the classified section. They are probably the best.

Re: No IHMSA News!

I think back in Gates day, the membership numbers were always inflated. I never believed we had as many members as was hinted at back in the days of The Silhouette paper. And, like him or not, Gates really pushed this sport. I got the 300 number from various match directors in Texas that I personall...

Re: No IHMSA News!

If that is the case, then I would suggest not advertising the fact that if you join IHMSA, and pay the extra fee, you will get a monthly copy of the news! And, I ran matches for 10 years in Texas, so I DO know what it's like to run a match. Attitudes like that above might be why we have less than 30...

Re: Financial Report & Membership Status

What is the word from the powers that be? I have seen this subject come up before, and never an adequate answer in reply. Do the "big dogs" just ignore the members, etc? There should be SOMEONE that is responsible for getting this info to the members. I'm thinking that as the good ship IHM...

Re: 7mm T/CU Starline 223 basic brass

Why make it so hard? Just get regular .223 brass, from whatever source, and get it done! I dont understand why
folks take the long way around the barn on a cartridge that is so easy to make. I dont have that kind of leisure time
to waste. But, whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Re: 10 '' TC 223. Powder for less noise

SR-4759 is a wonderful powder, but good lucking finding any. It's one of the best powders I can find for the Smith .500, but it has been discontinued, AGAIN. i bought up about 10 lbs of it and that should last me the rest of my life for my .500 loads.

Re: WTB XP100 center grip trigger

I could be wrong, but I think Del Taylor, member on here, makes a nice XP-100 trigger.
