Re: 6mm BR

Lot smaller case in BR, so pressure would be higher, how much higher would just be a guess.

Re: 7mm BR

Nutcase, in regards to Speer bullet prices, I've found just the opposite. Highest prices are Sierra's, next Hornady, and the cheapest have been Speer bullets. But, for some reason, it's very hard to find Speer bullets anywhere.

Re: 7mm BR

I know that Speer bullets, of any kind, are hard to find. Cabelas has hardly any. But, I used Speer 160 grain in my XP-100 7BR. Shot real well.

Re: New to 7TCU

I wouldn't worry too much about fire forming the cases. They do just about as well before fire forming. That is the
beauty of the 7TCU cartridge.

Re: Thinking about clanging steel again after a quarter century?

I laid off for about 4 years, and when I mailed my renewal in I asked for my old IHMSA number. They said no problem, and sent my new membership card with my original number. I dont think you will have any problem getting it back.

Past IHMSA membership

I joined IHMSA in 1980, shot my first matches in 1981. My issued IHMSA number was, and is, 16689. There were plenty of shooters at matches when I started, not so many now. Does anyone know what the peak number was, back in the day? I have been told by match directors that there is around 300 of us w...

Re: Unlimited Guns & Stock Configuration

And, as long as I have been in IHMSA, it's been that way. I think sometimes we are our own worst enemies! Like when Remington brought out the 10" barrel XP-100 for Production. Man, the powers that be hit the roof! No way was that gonna happen. Why, it would make TC Contenders obsolete overnight...

Re: Greenwood Gun Club

Guess I'll answer my own question. Yes, they have stopped having IHMSA matches. The reason is nobody coming to the matches. This is a common problem today. My home club of CTSA, in New Braunfels, and the one in Sweetwater, are the only two left for big bore matches in Texas. If I'm wrong, please let...

Re: New 2020 card

I got mine yesterday. I mailed the money order on January 5th, got it on the 17th. Rule book, card, and three IHMSA decals. Guess we get the copy of the news later? Good job, headquarter staff!

Re: Forming 7 TCU Brass

I have been buying Lake City military brass from Cabelas. It says on the package of 100 pieces that is has been deprimed and the primer pockets swaged to remove the military crimp. Well, whomever did the "swaging" wasn't too good at it because I had to do almost all of them over with an RC...
