Re: .22 Hornet Shooters-Primers

CCI 400 is what I run or Fed small rifle , tried pistol primers and no luck . AA9 under a 55gr. Horn. Shoots well . I still try pistol primers if tinkering with a new powder just in case .

Lee 55 RF in 22 Hornet

About a month ago and after alot of looking I decided to give cast a go in the Hornet. I looked at molds and took a shot with the Lee 2 cav to see what the potential was. Finally got everything in cast some up , lubed and checked they were consistent at 57 gr. . I loaded some up and finally got to t...

Re: 7mm T/CU Starline 223 basic brass

I will have to get some Starline for the TCU , all my RP is rung out and I've tried using Mil Spec but just doesn't shoot as well . I have looked at the Starline but passed it up.

Thanks Folks

Re: Looking for RCBS Bullet Molds

Add another vote for NOE , top quality . I'm on a group buy for a 5 cav .360 158gr. WFN from NOE . I have a .360 180 WFN and it does around 1 1/2" at a 100 out of a 10" tender . I also have a 7mm 150 Hunter got some loaded but havnt been to the range .

Re: Titegroup

Thanks , the HS-6 burn speed is where I need to be . Titegroup was doing good out to 50 under a Lyman 358477 semi WC . I've tried everything and I dont think that T/C like the semi WC at all . The best it shot was over top of 12.2 gr of AA 9 and I dont think you need all that . One bullet that barre...

Re: Thompson Center Contender 7mm TC/U Sight Settings

Im with Lynn , your load has a lot of bearing POI . I run a 160 cast over 20 gr of RL7 it fairly stout but accurate. I set for top of front sight at leg/body on chickens, belly of pigs on same setting . I believe up 1 or 2 middle of leg on turkeys , up 1 more to belly of rams . This is T/C factory s...

Titegroup

Ive just tried some of this powder in my 357 mag T/C . 4.5 grains seemed to group good under a Lyman 150 swc. One dislike is easy double charges . Has anyone else tried this .
