Re: New Remington bolt action pistol
The XP offered from the Rem. Custom Shop is not an XP.
It looks like a sawed off rifle.

Re: New Remington bolt action pistol
I just do not understand why Remington will not offer the XP as a once a year small batch run. Offer a few complete guns in a few popular cartridges and also stripped actions. Remington is not making a dime off of the after market sales and they are missing out on a all be it a niche market that the...

Re: Bullet construction
Joining in a little late, but back in the late 1980’s to early 1990’s I shot IHMSA Unlimited with a Contender in 7T/CU and a XP in 7BR. At first I was using Speer 130 gr and 145 gr BTSP. With a high center shot the rams sometimes just rocked. Then a new friend’s dad had a FFL and we ordered Nosler 1...

XP rear grip stock ?
Who if any makes a XP 100 rear grip stock composite or laminated wood ? Seems like it is easier to find a pot gold at the end of a rainbow then one those stocks.

Re: 7mm T/CU Starline 223 basic brass
Nutcase, I know about the needed for annealing and have done it many times in the past. Starline’s website states the need for annealing also. One of the reasons for me to use the Starline 223 basic cases is they do not have a cartridge designation on the case head. I like that. I have converted car...

Re: 7mm T/CU Starline 223 basic brass
I am referring to the Starline 223 Basic case that do not have the neck or shoulder formed. So it would be sizing the neck down, not up. The main reason to me is to end up with a thicker neck which can then be neck turned to create a consistent neck tension on the bullet.
