Try contacting Anschutz (the manufacturer, not the North American sales outlet) directly. I'm sure if you send them the pictures, they would be more than happy to provide you the background on the pistols. It would be nice to hear the outcome.

Got an email from Marty earlier this week, saying that he doesn't expect the SSK-50 Frames to be on the shelves for another 8 - 12 months.

JTAC confirmed they shorten, re-crown and re-thread the factory barrels. They claim 2 inch groups at 200 yards from the 6.5 Grendel with the 14.5” barrel. How big are the shoot-off targets?

What make of barrel, or are they cut down Howa barrels?

BFR says with factory fluting, the lightest you can get their BFR 300 AAC Blackout with a 10-inch barrel is 5.3 lbs. and 5 lbs. with an 8-inch barrel. I’m not sure how much difference in weight the 357 maxi would be. If only one of those jokes can become a reality, my hope would be for Freedom Arms ...
