I need a not-to-pricey scope for load testing my Super 14 Contender .357 Max.
The barrel has the EABCO sight installed, which has the Weaver base and 3-rings.
Since it will only be used for this purpose, I don’t want to spend a lot of money.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Best dies for .357 Max
Even a Carbide sizer die set from Lee will work. As mentioned, you dont need a crimp in a TC. Do you intend its use with cast bullets or jacketed ? For the Big Bore targets, yes, a 180 or 200gr bullet is helpful. However loads do not need to punish you if you can hold velocity to around 1200fps. Us...

Re: Best dies for .357 Max
OK, let me rephrase
I’ve been reloading .38/.357 for decades and have an old RCBS set with carbide sizer.
I was thinking more along the lines of should I upgrade to a set of competition dies, and maybe a special crimper of some sort?

Best dies for .357 Max
A couple hundred pieces of brass just arrived, so I’m ready to start loading for the Contender.
I’m new to IHMSA and .357 Maximum, so what are the best dies to get?

Sight for super 14 contender
So I took the plunge and a super 14 .357 max is en-route to me.
Need some suggestions on sights. I've looked at the Bomar online. Any idea what size notch would be best?

Re: Revolver under 1k?
Well the SRM isn't where I can readily get to it. Belonged to my late father who was a Ruger collector. When mom had to go to a nursing home, brother and I divided up the guns to store at home. To be fair to everyone, it would need to be purchased. I figured the SBH would be the best option, just th...

Revolver under 1k?
Howdy, I'm a long-time revolver nut. Used to hoot NRA way back when, till I got sick of tacos. Even though the nearest match is at least three hours away, a member at my local gun club got me interested again. I've been shooting magnum revolvers 40 years, so recoil/reloading aren't a problem, I just...
