Re: bolt action pistols
For many years I have been shooting a Savage Striker in 22LR. I liken it to a barby doll with accsesories not included. Add a Dell Taylor custom trigger, a 2.5x8 Leupold scope and fire away. Last year I did shoot an 80x80 but missed the last shoot off chicken for a "thanks for coming". :-s...

LITTLE GUNS AND BIG STEEL.
I plan on blowing the dust of a couple pistols that have been hiding in the safe. A rampro in 22 Dasher plus a T/C in 221 fireball. Both have fast twist barrels to shoot 80 grain SMK'S. Plus the usual big boys. Just received the bulz eye pro booster I won at the internationals, so maybe a flop gun i...

Re: STOCKING UP FOR 2017 AND BEYOUND
Yes, Shooters pro shop is a friend. I have sent a lot of Nosler blems and over runs down range. Just received 1000 80 grain .224 Noslers to use in my 22 Dasher and the old quick twist
221 fireball.

STOCKING UP FOR 2017 AND BEYOUND
The credit card has been taking a few hits as I fill the bullet list for 2017. Plus 3000 primers and a few more pounds of powder. But the truth is ammo cost is small compared to travel and lodging cost for a season of IHMSA competition. I hope to shoot all of Idaho's matches plus Okl and the extrava...

bringing ammo into calif??
the past two years Dell and I have enjoyed our trips to the La extravaganza. Will cal. laws put a road block on the 1000 plus rounds of custom ammo we need to bring ???

Re: Fun with the 41!
:ymblushing: Thank you Jerry for the compliment. I did have a great time with the 41 blasting PH animals and sending the field pistol chickens flying. I just polished a coffee can full of 41 brass. The Dillion 650 makes it easy to turn out pistol ammo. Hope to see you back in Idaho Falls in the spri...

NUMBER OF ROUNDS FIRED IN 2016
Just did a summary of my 2016 IHMSA season: 1860 center fire rounds fired and near 800 rounds of 22LR.
Dell hauled the old guy over 6000 miles with trips to Idaho, Oklahoma and LA.
Time to inventory bullets, powder and primers and crank up the Dillion 650's.

Fun with the 41!
The return to the Brushy Creek Ranch. After a three year shut down I obtained permission for our group of hunters to return to the ranch. Permission, Permits, preparation and we set off for the 2016 Wyoming antelope hunt. Arriving Thursday evening near dark we set up three tents and two shade covers...

Re: .25 BR: Anybody have load info?
I had good luck with RL-15 in my 25BR. Use 6BR data and bump it a grain or two to start.
