I've been told that my email address is wrong. I know it was late when I entered the message but this doesn't explain how I got the email so far off. The email should be bjxp94@hotmail.com. Or you could send me a PM. Sorry if this caused anybody a problem.

IHMSA-modified XP100 in 7INT-X for sale
I've owned this for about 20 years, bought used from another IHMSA member. This is from a batch of guns that IHMSA headquarters bought, rechambered from 7BR to 7INT-X, put new sights on, and sold to members. 7INT-X is a good cartridge for full size targets, and would probably be a good cartridge for...

King Tube sight for sale SOLD PF
I used this sight on a 14" T/C back in the old days. I bought the sight right after Richard King started making them. At that time the bells used one set screw and the front mount attached to the stock T/C front sight base. As a result of our experience with this sight Richard upgraded it to be...

Re: New to BB again
I am trying to get back into BB after 20 years away from it. I used to shoot a 7IHMSA but sold the gun long ago. I was thinking about going to a T/C 7/08 encore pro but wasn't sure if that wasn't overkill. Didn't want to really spend more than that on a gun for BB. I was also thinking about a 7-30 ...
Re: Spoters
I always found that using open sights the biggest problem was elevation. If you were a little off in elevation, and this could happen from one range to another due to lighting conditions or temperature, then you could be missing targets and not know why. As I ot better sights this was less of a prob...

Re: FP calibers
Back when I was shooting Field Pistol (actually NRA Hunter Pistol) I looked at it as directly related to hunting, and when I thought about handgun hunting I thought about hunting deer and antelope. (At the time I was reading a lot of articles in the magazines of the time about Thompson Contenders in...

Re: RE: Shoot What You Brung Article
The "old days" used to be all "shoot what you brung". I started in IHMSA in the early 1980's and things had evolved somewhat by then, but I remember reading about things like people shooting accurized 1911's, 7.5" Ruger super blackhawks, .30-30 Contenders, etc. The people re...

Re: Half Scale question
In the old days, we didn't have half size targets, and we liked it that way. Plus we had to walk to matches in the snow, uphill both ways. It seemed that unlimited shooters would frequently shoot 40, and would require shootoffs. Some of our local shooters could shoot 40 or close in production, and I...

Re: Shooting glasses advice
If your front sight is a blur then you are probably farsighted or you don't have any correction for distant vision, but you are old enough that your eyes have limited range of focus. I'm older too and this first started happening to me a little before I turned 50. Actually I'm a bit nearsighted so I...
